Find answers to the most common questions about Solin.
Solin is a Windows media player designed for use in Kingdom Halls. It lets you play songs, browse meeting pages and share media to other devices over Wi-Fi.
In the Songs section, songs are loaded automatically for the configured language. Click any song to play it, or use the in-order or shuffle buttons to start the full queue.
In the Wi-Fi section, Solin starts a local server on your network. A QR Code appears — any device on the same network can scan it and send photos, videos or audio directly to Solin, no cable needed.
With a second screen connected to the computer, select the file in the playlist and click the projection button. Solin displays the content fullscreen on the secondary monitor while controls stay on the main screen.
The browser opens meeting pages directly from the official website. You can project images, videos or the whole live tab to the secondary screen without opening another program.
In the Timer section, set the desired time and click start. Solin projects a visual timer on the secondary screen — useful for speech and presentation timing.
Yes. In Songs or Clips, click the download icon to save files locally. Once downloaded, they play without internet.
Currently Solin is available for Windows only. Support for other systems may be considered in the future.
